Salmon Burger with Spicy Miso Aioli Sauce with Tomato and Greens

What is more summer than a burger recipe to grill with the family? Special thanks to Sylvia for this wonderful asian inspired burger.

【Spicy Miso Salmon Burger】by Sylvia

Skinless, Boneless Salmon Fillet 1 lb
Chopped Cilantro 1 tbsp
Shin-Sen-Gumi Spicy Miso ½ tbsp
Hoisin Sauce 1 tbsp
Garlic ½ tsp
Ginger (paste or grated) 1 tsp
Salt ½ tsp
Panko Breadcrumbs ⅓ cup
Oil tbsp 1
Spicy Miso Aioli
Japanese Mayo (Kewpie) ¼ cup
Shin-Sen-Gumi Spicy Miso 1 tsp
Lemon Juice 1 tsp
Soy Sauce 2 tsp
【Burger Fixings】
Burger Buns 4
Baby Greens 1 cup
Sliced Ripe Tomatoes 1 whole

How to Make

・Salmon Patties

1. In a food processor, pulse salmon cubes enough for a chop but not a puree.
*Make sure not to overprocess the Salmon.

2. In a bowl, put in chopped Salmon, Cilantro, Spicy Miso, Hoisin Sauce, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Pepper, and Panko, mix well.

3. Form mixture into 4 patties.


・Spicy Miso Aioli

1. Whisk together all sauce ingredients, Mayonnaise, Spicy Miso, Lemon Juice, and Soy Sauce.


・Spicy Miso Salmon Burger w/ Spicy Miso Aioli

1. Heat up pan over medium high heat. Pour in oil, place salmon patties on the pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side, or until cooked.

2. Assemble burgers using the Buns, Salmon Patties, Spicy Miso Aioli, Baby Greens and slice of Tomato.
