Braised Chicken Wings



Chicken wings are more typically eaten fried, grilled or baked in the oven, but this recipe braises chicken wings in our Ponzu Sauce for a tender, juicy and flavorful chicken wings. Diluting the sauce with water in equal parts is very important for a more gentle and mild flavor throughout. Be sure to lower the heat to a simmer, if not you'll end up with tough wings!

【Braised Chicken Wings】

Chicken Wings 10pcs
Shin-Sen-Gumi Ponzu Sauce 300ml
Mirin 100ml
Sugar 50g
Water 300ml
Basil A sprig

How to Make

  1. In a pot, add ponzu, mirin, sugar, and water and bring to to boil.
  2. Add the chicken in the pot and close the lid.
  3. Simmer for 20 min. Add basil leaf into pot and boil until basil leaves are cooked.
  4. Plate chicken wings and garnish with basil.
